Voice to Text Notes (V2TN) Privacy Policy

Range Tested Productions (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Voice to Text Notes (V2TN) mobile application (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

A. Audio & Microphone Usage

V2TN requires access to your device’s microphone to provide voice‑to‑text dictation. Audio input is processed only in real time to convert speech into text notes. Audio is handled ephemerally and is not saved, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

B. Google Sheets Integration & Google User Data

If you choose to use the Google Sheets Sync feature, V2TN will request authorization to access your Google Sheets account via Google OAuth.

• Access & Use: We access your Google Sheets solely to create or update spreadsheets with your notes at your explicit direction.
• Storage & Sharing: We do not store, copy, sell, or share your Google Sheets data or account credentials on external servers. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your local device.
• Google API Compliance: V2TN complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including all Limited Use requirements.

C. Log Data, Analytics & Advertising

The Service integrates third‑party services (such as Google Play Services, AdMob, and Firebase) that may collect device identifiers, operating system information, performance analytics, and advertising IDs to serve ads and maintain app stability.

2. Data Security

All data transmitted between V2TN and third‑party services is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

3. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.

5. Account & Data Deletion Request

V2TN allows users to authenticate using Google OAuth to sync notes with Google Sheets.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

• In‑App Request: Open V2TN → Settings → Google Account → tap “Disconnect Account & Delete Local Session Data.”
• Email Request: Email support@rangetestedproductions.com with the subject “V2TN Account Data Deletion Request.”
• Revoke OAuth Access: You may revoke V2TN’s access via your Google Security Settings.

Data Handling & Retention

• Immediate Deletion: Local configuration settings, authentication tokens, and cached profile data are deleted immediately when you disconnect your account.
• Google Sheets Data: V2TN does not store your Google Sheets data on any Range Tested Productions servers. Your spreadsheets remain solely on your Google Drive.
• Retained Data: Anonymous analytics or crash logs collected by third‑party providers are retained according to Google’s standard retention schedules.
